Yasuo lowly growled in response. He sat at the table for a good ten minutes, not moving and not making a sound of any kind. He just sat there idly, thinking of things that popped into his head.
"I don't get tired," he finally breathed. Straightening his back out, he cracked his knuckles and pushed the books aside. He then placed his fingers there and stared at the table surface.

"I'm sure you don't." Yonutsune murmured, but then mentally kicked herself. 'I should know from the first time I met him to not say anything aloud I don't want him to hear.' She thought. She finally picked out a book and began to read the summary on the back. It wasn't until she heard a small squeak and felt something moving around in her pocket that she stopped reading and suddenly froze. She quickly looked down and saw her small white mouse, Chido trying to make its way out of her pocket. So, she gently pushed him back into her pocket, hoping Yasuo didn't see him since she wasn't sure if pets were aloud or not.

Yasuo sighed, putting his face into the palm of his hand and placing his elbow on the table. He slowly pulled his hand downwards, off his face and sighed once more.
"Don't worry...Mika has a cat and Kayoko has a ferret. I don't think anyone will mind if you've got a mouse." Then Yasuo smiled somewhat. "Used to have one myself. Then it gave birth to five others and we had to let them all go. They were my best friends," he chuckled bitterly.

Yonutsune averted her eyes to Yasuo with narrowed eyes. 'Maybe I shouldn't say anything...' she contemplated. "So does that mean you don't have a best friend anymore or do just choose not too?"
After saying that, she really wished she'd kept her mouth shut. 'Why do I always have to say things like that?' She asked herself mentally and wished somebody would slap her.

Yasuo actually grinned at her. "Oh, owch. She goes straight for the throat." He pulled some hair away from his eyes and sighed, twiddling his thumbs.
"But, much to your surprise, I'm sure, I have two best friends actually." Yasuo smiled, thinking of both Kayoko and Tomomi. "Much better than any rodent, I assure you. But...they can't really roll around in a ball. And when you try to pet them, they don't just squeak. They hit." Yasuo joked.

Yonutsune found herself chuckling at that. "So they're girls? Aren't you just the popular one." She said while thinking of when Mika showed up on Yonutsune's first day. "Well, then I guess I should say I'm glad for you." She said and took three books into her arms and faced Yasuo. "If that's what you want me to say, I mean." At that, she began to walk towards the counter to check out the books.

Yasuo smirked but tilted his head. He could say it...he really could say it...but he didn't. Self-restraint: Yasuo's best quality. Well, usually. Unless he was having a mental breakdown of some sort, Yasuo could always keep himself cool and collected. Always. Besides, what he wanted to say was very mean. Best to keep it to himself.
"I wouldn't say popular. I just get around every now and then." Yasuo shrugged and sighed.

Yonutsune stopped at the sound of Yasuo's voice. She slightly turned and looked at him and then smiled a little. "If you say so. Bye then, Yasuo." She said and then checked her books out and walked out of the library.
'Why do I feel so violated when I'm around him? Or more importantly, why do I feel violated in the first place?' She thought as she walked down the corridor towards the Buruu dormitories. 'Why is it that I feel like he can read my mind? Ugh, forget about it.' She pushed the thoughts out of her mind and decided to think about [what she thought] more important things.

Yasuo leaned back in his chair and gave a half-wave to her as she departed. He then smiled and recollected all the events from just then. Eavesdropping. As always, it was Yasuo's best hobby and most important on his list.
The small squeaking of a mouse and the hasty yet careful push made by Mei, shoving something back into her pocket. 'I don't get tired.' Yasuo smiled at his past statement. It wasn't true - he did get tired. It was just that he hardly ever slept.
"Oh well. Nothing a book of poetry couldn't get off my mind." Yasuo smiled knowlingly, grabbing a book from the shelf and simply walking out. He cackled and left for his dorm.
