"If you're willing to, I'd be very grateful. As for a broom... I believe there's another one in this closet here... My name's Akemi Rakurai, by the way," Akemi replied with a wide smile. The help was unexpected, and Akemi was very happy. She took another broom from the closet and handed it to the new girl.
"How do you manage with that hair?" Akemi asked, staring at the bright pink locks. A small shiver ran down her spine as she thought of what it would be like if her own hair was that color...

Tomomi grabbed the broom and looked at Akemi suspisciously, "What's wrong with my hair? You know, it's not my fault my hair is pink! All my brothers got red or purple hair, but me?! I got pink hair, because my mom's is too! I don't even like pink that much. And my eyes..." Tomomi shrugged, but then realized she had sounded a bit weird, "Uh, sorry, hehe." She started to sweep the floor and waited for what anyone would say.

"I just hate pink. I pity you..." Akemi said bluntly, "So what's yer name, kiddo?"
Akemi walked over to the windows and opened them up wide. Hopefully the smoke would leave... it wasn't exactly easy to breathe at the moment. With that finished, Akemi joined in the sweeping of the floors.

"Oh, thanks." Tomomi replied, sarcastically, looking down at the black floors. She looked at the blonde girl, Akemi, and answered her, "It's Tomomi." She looked down again and thought, 'Just because my hair may not be perfect doesn't mean she can act like totally mean to me, actually, not mean to me at all. I didn't ask for my hair to be pink.' Tomomi bit her lip and started to speak, still looking down, "So, I'm guessing you caused the explosion?"

"Er..." Akemi attempted to reply, a large sweatdrop forming, "I did... not intentionally! I just forgot one screw..."
"So, Tomomi-kun, what kumi are you in? I'm in Buruu," Akemi changed the subject, her cheeks burning red in embarrassment.

Kayoko continued sweeping silently, while listening carefully to the mood of the conversation. *They could be good friends or worst enemies..* Kayoko thought sighing. She relised that she was sweeping one spot way too much, so it was shiny. (Me like shiny! ^^) Kayoko quickly moved to a different spot to continue sweeping. *I don't know whether Tomomi's used to someone who speaks her mind, but I think I know Tomomi..I don't think she takes a bad comment if not saying one back..* Kayoko thought, remember them both talking to that show-offy-kid.

Tomomi looked up, "Daaku. With Kayoko." Tomomi saw she was embarrassed, probably because she forgot one tiny thing, "You don't need to feel bad. Do you know how many mistakes I make in one day? Just this morning, I was late for my first class because I slept in, I almost got caught for writing notes to Kayoko in the same class, I got in trouble again for giggling out of nowhere, and now..." She looked at the ground and saw she just stepped into her dust pile, "I just stepped into my dust pile...with light shoes!" Tomomi looked down at her shoes, "And these costed a bit too. So don't be thinking you're the only one here who's a bit embarrassed and annoyed." Tomomi gasped, "I said too much...uh oh."

*....* Kayoko thought as the imaginary friend in her head slapped her forehead. "How much?" Kayoko asked as she started brushing dust off Tomomi's shoes with her broom.

"Nah... yer just being honest. I like that. Thanks," Akemi said with a sigh. But really, it had exploded. That's not just a little mistake...
Oh, will you stop the self-pity? Akemi scolded herself. She looked down at her dirt pile. It had gotten quite large.
"Dust pan time!" she called cheerfully as she went and retrieved the needed item. She quickly swept the dust into the pan and tossed the dirt into the nearby trash can.

"Yahoo! Dust pan time!" Kayoko said as she grabbed a dust pan herself.
