Ryo sat on the bench near a big hurdles track with a water bottle beside his thigh. He stretched his arms and then stood to stretch his legs.
He went over to the starting line and got into a starting position, as though he were in a race, dashing off after he counted "3" in his mind.
Anyone who knew Ryo didn't know anyone faster. He was the hurdles champion in his old school and other than running track and basketball, it was his best sport.
Continuing to run and jump over gates he looked over to the bleachers seeing someone sitting on one.
His pace fastened to impress whoever the person sitting over there could be.

Kayoko enjoyed watching sports for the following reasons: 1. Cheering people on was what she did best! Even if she didn't know the people competing! 2. She stunk at sports, always ending up tripping or falling. Her silver eyes followed the fastest boy, and she cheered with everyone else. Kayoko smiled, that boy was trying his hardest; and so was everyone else. So everyone was doing a really good job! As long as everyone was trying there best running!

OOC: He isn't in a competition. He's just running on his own time if you couldn't tell.
BIC: After a few more laps, Ryo stopped running, his legs tightening and his brow stinging with the salt of his sweat. He wiped the sweat of with the back of his hand and walked over to his water bottle. He took a drink and held it with him as he walked over to the unfamiliar girl.
"I haven't seen you before, have I." He began, standing and looking down at her as sweat continued to drip down his head. Ryo smiled, "I'm Ryo. In the Tansai kumi. And you?"

(OCC: Well, I do think there is only one track, so others must be running too. He's possibly not the only one that likes to run.*their are probably athletic non-important characters too, trying to beat their own time* I didn't take it as a compitition, just pointing out that he was running the fastest.*because you said that nobody knew anyone faster*Oh, and the cheering! Kayoko just likes to cheer people on, she thinks it makes people feel better. And there are probably others cheering too. *just adding my two-cents in*) Kayoko smiled. "Hello Ryo-san! My name is Kayoko, I am in Daaku kumi! Pleased to meet you!", She chirped happily as she bowed in front of him.

Ryo smiled, "Well! Nice to meet you Miss Kayoko-san!"
He paused to look at the track, then back at Kayoko, "You like sports? Or do you just like to watch them?"

Ryo laughed. Many girls he knew liked to watch so, he didn't mind, "That's fine too."
He took a drink from his water bottle and then spoke, "So, have you been here long? I just got here a few days ago."
Ryo hoped that he didn't seem too outgoing, of course, that other Daaku girl, Tomomi, seemed twice as outgoing as he was so, maybe Kayoko was used to it.

Kayoko smiled, he was very outgoing. "Yes, I've been here longer than most. Tomomi-san and I were the first. Have you met her?"

Ryo nodded, scratching his head, "Yeah. She seemed outgoing...very outgoing." He paused and re-thought what he said, "Not that it's bad!"
He sighed and thought aloud, "I also met a girl named Kohana. She mentioned something about a party later, and she left me and Tomomi abruptly...And there's also Yasuo..."
Ryo wondered for a moment about the sword he saw Yasuo had. Ryo was a pretty good swordsman and wanted to challenge Yasuo, "Do you know him? I was wondering if he fences at all. I was hoping to challenge him."

^^' Kayoko smiled. "Yes, I know him. He's very nice to Tomomi and myself. Yes...Er, he fences. But I don't think he enjoys it, even though he's good at it..."
