Science wasn't so bad that day. Tomomi's class was out in the orchard 'Experiencing' the Wonders of the Leaf. Tomomi had to do an entire project the year before on trees, now leaves? She decided that the teacher could go without one student, just for a few minutes. Tomomi scooted behind a bush and out to a field. She was standing at the top of a hill now. "This is what I'm talking about!" Tomomi sighed, "Sweet Freedom." She took a step down, and then another onto a large rock. Tomomi, being the spaceshot she is, did not notice the rock and dumbly stepped off it as if there was dirt at the same height. Tomomi fell forward and she whimpered, knowing this was one of her "OUCH!" moments, "God save my poor, broken body." She fell into a somersault and tumbled down the hill until she was at the bottom, half unconscious. Tomomi was lied down at the bottom of the hill, but there were footsteps chasing after her.

Kayoko sat at a large rock close by Tomomi, looking and taking notes at the leaves the teacher was holding up one by one. She turned as she heard a large 'thud' at the bottom of the hill. *Tomomi! I hope she didn't get hurt!*, Kayoko thought as she stood up and climbed over to the rock Tomomi was at to peer down at her. "Tomomi!? Are you o- Ahh!", She started to call, but her own unawareness lead her to being in a pile with Tomomi. Kayoko laughed a little and looked at their uniforms, covered in light dirt. "Aren't we a bit worse for wear?", She stopped and looked at Tomomi. "Are you alright Tomomi-san?"

Tomomi was jolted to a startling awakening from her unconscious sleep when she felt someone land on her. Her eyes bulged and her bone ached as the weight lifted of her. She felt a great pain in her arm and looked up to a familiar voice, Kayoko's, "I dunno." Tomomi started to lift her arm but a sharp pain seised it even before it rose an inch. Tomomi reacted with a cry of pain, "AAAG! I DON'T THINK SO!" She bit her lip, "Ow..." Then she felt a little selfish and hoped Kayoko was okay, "Are you- OW! Okay?" She bit her lip more and squinted, as if it would help get rid of the pain any faster.

Kayoko nodded, she was a little dizzy, and possibly had a concushion, but she was pretty fine. "I'm ok. STAY HERE.", She ordered firmly. Kayoko got up, but because of the dizziness, she crashed into a nearby pine tree. (Kayoko's face: @_@) She got up, spit out pine needles, and almost fell over, but shook it off. "Woah..As I said before, STAY HERE." Kayoko found her legs not obeying her, as she immediatly fell next to where Tomomi was. "...I guess we're both staying here."

Yasuo had been listening to his iPod, that he never heard the falls of both his friends. But after a few moments, their sudden disappearance alerted him. He quickly paused his iPod and took out the earphones, hanging them on his neck so they wouldn't get in the way. He stole a glance at the teacher, who was lecturing on about...leaves. Yasuo quirked a brow - they were out here for leaves? If he had been paying attention in class before they had come outside, he wouldn't even have bothered. Yasuo sighed and hastily dashed behind a bush and onto a field. Or, sort of, as at the end was a slight fall over a hill and past a rock.
"Wait, wait. Let me guess," Yasuo rolled his eyes, hands in pockets as he strolled up the hill. "Tomomi didn't know about this place, started walking and fell down. Soon thereafter, Kayoko went to go help and she fell in as well. Probably on top of Tomomi." Yasuo sighed in exasperation and stood at the top of the hill. Here, he had stolen away many times before, so he knew about the rock at the end.
He peered down the steep embankment and, sure enough, there was Tomomi and Kayoko at the bottom. He couldn't help but chuckle as he looked down at them both.
"Yo, you guys alright?" he called, casually walking down towards them.

"Oh yeah, we're just fine and dandy!" Tomomi began sarcastically, "We're just sitting here because we like to-OW!" She squinted at the pain in her arm and continued, now serious, "I fell down the hill and I think I hit my arm on something and now it's probably broken, then Kayoko came looking for me and fell down too, and ON TOP OF ME!-OWWW!!!" Tomomi paused and bit her lip and took a breath, then continued again, "Now she's too dizzy, I'm too broken...YOU'D BETTER NOT FALL EITHER!" Tomomi did sound angry, even a little mean, but who would be? She probably just broke the arm she uses the most, Kayoko landed on her and Tomomi almost spewed her lunch, and now Yasuo was being casual with it? For all she knew, the class could have left already and Kayoko could've been the one to injure her arm! Tomomi looked at her arm helplessly, biting her lip at the same time.

Kayoko looked at Tomomi worriedly. "I'm sorry! I'm really really really sorry I landed on top of you!!! Really really really-GACK!" She stopped as she choked on a pine needle. Kayoko tried to swallow it and continue. "REALLY REALLY REAL-" Kayoko was once again interrupted because it was stuck in her throat. (I've done that before...IT HURT! ^^') She choked for about thirty seconds, then finally got it out after much struggle and turned to Tomomi again. "Please don't move your arm! If Yasuo is here, it must mean the class is still here!...I hope."

Yasuo smiled innocently as he reached the bottom of the hill. "Naw, I wouldn't fall on you guys. That'd be too awkward," he shrugged, hands still stuffed in his pockets.
"Well, hang on. I'm going to go get something to help your arm and then I'll get the teacher." Yasuo swiftly turned on his heel and nimbly made his way up the hill to a nearby tree next to the bush he had stolen behind. He broke off a branch and then tore a piece of his shirt. Then he slid down the hill, landing safely next to his fallen friends.
"Try not to move your arm," Yasuo whispered as he bent down next to Tomomi. He placed the branch parallel to her broken arm, and began to tie the torn cloth around both the branch and Tomomi's arm. Finally, he knotted it tight, so it would keep the arm straight and hopefully keep pressure on it to reduce any pain for awhile.
"You okay Kayoko? I'll be right back with the teacher." Yasuo began his small trek up the hill once again and passed the bush. He sighed and was ready to call out when the horrible sight met his eyes.
The sight of a desolate area, with only a few leaves about, blowing in the wind. "Aw, crud." Yasuo dashed back down the hill and alerted his friends to the mishap. "Er, it seems the class has...moved on." He ruffled his hair and grinned sheepishly. "So, we either wait here, or we can help each other out." For some reason, this seems too familiar. Yasuo thought to himself.

Tomomi looked at her bandaged arm with a frown, "They left?" She heard a loud boom suddenly and then her frown got lower, "Was that-" Poing! A raindrop fell on her head, Tomomi gave a shiver, then more fell. "Ya' know what? That's probably why they left." She bit her lip again. The rain wasn't doing any good for her arm and she hoped that Yasuo and Kayoko were okay. "I think we should find some shelter." Tomomi suggested as another thunder boomed in the background.

Kayoko nodded. "I'm fine...Oh, wait!" She quickly took off her thin jacket and placed it over Tomomi. Kayoko jumped practically a foot when the thunder became louder and it started to shower endlessly. She nodded again at Tomomi's suggustion. "But...The only shelter I can remember is at the school...And the school is practically impossible to reach in this storm!", She said loudly over the thunder.
