Buruu:
Buruu students are usually the kings and queens of numerical as well as technical problems. Whether it be solving equations, balancing inequalities, or simply computing the tip for the waiter, Buruu students at Tama Boarding School generally exhibit problem solving strengths in whatever subject they study. Students of this Kumi are usually very mathmatical, great problem solvers, as well as great peers. Cool blue tones are the Buruu's unform tight/bow colors. This Kumi's crest is depicted as a Sword Fish.
Guriin:
Guriin students are considered scientific in every way. Whether it be discussing ancient theories, chemical reactions, or even the digestive cycle of sea cucumbers, Buruu students at Tama Boarding School generally exhibit indepth analysation, as well as patience, in every subject they study. Some who are placed in this kumi had a deep love and consideration for animals and nature. Students of this Kumi are usually very precise in there actions, possible perfectionist, but all in all collected people. Earthy, green hues are the Guriin's colors. This Kumi's crest is depicted as a Moth.
Tansai:
Tansai students are considered the most athletic of all students at Tama Boarding School. Whether it be running a mile, scoring a few points in field hockey, or playing DDR on Heavy Mode, Tansai students at Tama Boarding School generally exhibit physical and emotional strength and well being. Students of this Kumi are usually very determined to be the best they can, and are known to push themselves a little to far at times. Yellow and whites are the hues that are associated with the Tansai. This Kumi's crest is depicted as a Tiger.
Kurenai:
Kurenai students possess the skill of word manipulation. Whether it be writing poetry, stories, or a history essay, Kurenai students at Tama Boarding School generally exhibit discriptive writing skills in whatever subject they study. Students of this Kumi are usually vibrant, imaginative, and bias towards there own works. Bold reds and oranges are the Kurenai's colors. This Kumi's crest is depicted as a Pheonix.
Daaku:
Daaku students tend to possess artistic talents. Whether it be singing, acting, or painting, Daaku students at Tama Boarding School generally exhibit creative skill in whatever subject they study. Students of this Kumi are usually introverted, keeping to their group, only sharing inner thoughts and passions through art displays. Dark hues of purple and black are the Daaku's colors. This Kumi's crest is depicted as a Black Bear.
