She held her bag silently as she went to her room and walked in not surprised of what she saw. The room seemed quiet boring and she guessed she would personalize it later on because right now she wasn't in the mood to clean up or anything. Kumiko sat cross legged on the bed and looked through her bed for her CD player. She usually listened to music when she wanted write or just lay around and think which was most of the time. She found it and pushed play and the music stared from where she paused it.
She took out her red and white journal and began to write as she played on her back and wrote for a while, a few minutes later she drop the note book on the ground and stared up at the white ceiling. The room was kind of welcoming in a way even though it was half empty.

Saya straightened and brushed her hair away from her eyes with the back of her hand. It wouldn't be too long before her hair returned to its usual, absurdly long length, but for now, her shoulder length hair would have to do. Turning away from her open, now empty suitcase, she took a glance about her room and sighed glumly. Boring. That was the only way she could properly describe her room. The bare walls were plain and tannish with only the shadows to accent it.
The window, however, is what drew her. It was rather large with latches that opened out and a deep sill, just large enough to sit precariously on. Right outside was a rather large, majestic oak with branches so thick that she was sure she could jump out and land safely... that is... if she weren't horribly, incredibly afraid of heights. The young Japanese girl gulped and stepped back away from the window. Perhaps she'd put up some curtains... or... bars... or cement... or something...
Saya wondered if anyone else had come in yet. It had been pretty quiet in the Kurenai dorms and she hoped that the open door down the hall from her meant that someone else had come in. Knocking gently, she poked her head into the room and smiled at the figure lying on her bed, gazing up at the ceiling.
