The sky was blue as it has always been, the clouds were towering and puffy, reminding him much of the sold fairy floss at a nearby stand. Gently, the wind touches his cheeks as if it was gently caressing him, the wind sure loves doing that. He wore an immaculate white shirt , cargo pants and his pink chucks.
This day has been pretty much okay with me for the past couple of hours.
Rinji smiled.
His legs moved rhythmically, right, left, right, left and so it continues until he reached for a certain spot at the street. His other hand held a bunch of new cds in a plastic bag, some stuff he bought earlier.
KLING
Rinji pushes open the door, the chime rings as a sign of a new costumer. Displayed outside were guitars, beautifully crafted guitars in blazing red and midnight blue. He couldn’t help but see them up close and of course buy some new strings for his guitar, which was the first reason why he had came all the way here, downtown.
His eyes feasted on the gleaming guitars, he let his fingers touch it, even just for a while. But no matter how pretty they were, nobody could replace his one and only. He continued on and went to the store clerk. He was a tall and lanky guy, he had greasy unkempt hair, lot of piercing and tattoos too, not to mention the leather vest.
Why do music store clerks look like these? I mean, man! You’re selling guitars, you’re not offering them to give them tattoo.
"Uhm, hey, can have some metal guitar strings, for acoustic," He asked with politeness.
The guy just stares at him, then he turned around and got some. He gave it to him and looks at him again, Rinji awkwardly smiles, pays for it and turns away.
"Phew, what’s with him..." He whispers to himself as he examine the stuff the clerk gave him.
He stuffs it inside the plastic bag, together with the cds and continued on to looking at some of the other instruments.
"Music... that’s what I breathe..."
