Tsukiko wiped beads of sweat from her forehead as she trudged further up the treacherous hill. She hefted her luggage, which consisted of a small canvas and stool, perfect for scetching the beautiful scenery.
She had heard about this place from knowledge floating around the school. Such wonderful things said about the hill adjacent to the temple. The temple where she had found her best friend.
Tsukiko sighed in relief as she saw the ground beneath flattening, signaling the approach of the top of the slope. She stepped up to the top and took a moment to stare out at the gorgeous view before her, houses and shrubbery in the distance. She set up the hinge of the canvas, keeping it upright. She set the paper on the base and sat on the small stool, sitting still to enjoy the beautiful day.
She whipped out her trademark pencil and sharpener, ready to get to work. The reason Tsukiko got into this school and became a Daaku too was her amazing artistic talent. She could draw mostly anything with concentration and enjoyed doing it. Art was her passion. Sure, she could sing and dance but those were more...personal talents that she would rather not show. But then again, she did not always like to express her art ideas either.
