The serenity of the place was drowning his worries. Different things clouded up his mind lately, all about homework and coping up with all the new things, including the alien language he was having difficulty speaking.
The sound of the birds twittering and the gentle swooshing and swaying of the bamboos that led the way to Temple was very soothing. It was not a normal place for him to go, but it gave him a certain contentment. All natural.
Rinji rode his green bike that blended to the surroundings perfectly. The wind softly caressed his face and it was if he was floating, slowly being carried away to the clouds that promised a good weather.
He left his i pod for once in his life. Only the sound of nature rung in his ears. He sighed in relief as his legs slowly pumped. Going further to the cleared path. Rinji wore a simple yellow shirt, cargo shorts and flops.
After a moment of biking, he used his feet as brakes making a swoosh sound. He had arrive to his destination. The old temple with a bit of moss and all. It was quite unkempt. For a moment he just stood there, looking at the old Temple.

Tomomi was tired of doing homework in the library, and she really didn't like it, so she thought it would be nice to get a breath of fresh air. She walked along the dusty roads, with her bangs blowing into her eyes. It was a very windy day, but not too cold. The sun was still shining, but to Tomomi it was shrouded in darkness by one little mischief maker, HOMEWORK. She soon came across the Kompirasan Temple, the place where she had gotten caught in the snowstorm. Tomomi was getting tired, and thought she could take a break in the temple, remembering the exquisite ornaments hanging from the walls, and the delightful smell of incense. But up ahead she saw a new face, he was looking at the temple. Tomomi couldn't tell if it was in awe or disgust, but she started to speak anyway, "Isn't it pretty? Well, I think so."

OOC: SOrry for posting late....-_-
BIC:
As the gentle wind blew, making his clothings clung to his skin, he just stood there. Looking blankly at the old Temple. Still holding the bike handle, not knowing his hands were being clammy now. Rinji thought of seeing one like this at the US, what would it be like? Thoughts of 'what ifs' and 'if only' swirled inside his head nonstop.
A voice of no man asked him a question.
"Isn't it pretty? Well, I think so."
Rinjis quick reflexes landed him face to face with an unfamilliar girl. He awkwardly smiles and moves backward a bit for they were almost nose to nose.
"Rinji," He simply introduced himself to the alien girl.
"Its... I dunno... Its an image of complete peace... I like it... Its simple and you could see the that it stood long before we were born, it had seen a lot of things..." He said a bit slow, gray eyes traveling from one part of the Temple to the other.
"Im new...." He just said out of the blue.

((OOC: That's alright!)) Tomomi listened to him until he finished, then she replied, "No wonder I haven't seen you around." She smiled, "I'm Tomomi. So you're going to Tama Boarding School, right?"

Absentmindedly he nodded, as the girl who introduced herself as Tomomi talked. Listening patiently he simply smiled politely and charmingly. "Nice meeting you..." He said with a smile. "Yep... Tama, Tama, Tama Boarding School... Thats it." "Im new, as in new in this foreign country... foreign school," He continued. "I like your hair...Its pink.(Is your hair really pink? Coz I can edit this post. ^_^ " The wind blows softly against both of them. He smiles and looks back at the temple.

((Yes, Tomomi's hair is naturally pink)) Tomomi played with her hair, wincing at it when she looked, "I don't like it very much." She put her hair down and spoke again, "So you're all around new here? That's cool. Where were you from?" She rubbed the back of her head, "I've always lived here. Not at Tama, I mean!"

"Hey, its good on you," Rinji sid as he smiled sincerely.
For him, her pink hair was unique and he liked it. He didnt like being copied or being not original, thats why, rght in front of him was a girl who had unique pink hair. He was being honest, for what seemed to him was a true person. No lies.
"Me? Well, Im from US, my mothers jap and my father not," He explained it.
"I got transfered for some reason, and im not yet comfortable with it," He spoke of the truth.
"Thats cool, you must really know this place now, dont you?" He said as he looked at the beautiful and serene place.

Tomomi looked at him wide eyed, "You really like my hair?!" She regained herself and looked down, "It's just that...n-nevermind." She sighed and looked up, "Yeah, I live, or use to, around here, about a half-an-hour away." Tomomi thought for a moment, 'No one, not even my family has ever liked my hair...That's why I keep it soooo short...hm...'

He simply chuckled as he saw Tomomi turn wide eyed on him. It was quite amusing as aher face contorted into diffrent reactions, her eyes and facial muscles. It was entertaining for he was fond of small details.
"What...?" He asked, showing that he was interested but not insisting.
But it seemed she didnt want to say so he just smiled.
"Cool, you live nearby, that must be an advantage for going to school," He said.
"I mean, you wont be late and that stuff," He continued grinning.
Then, Tomomi told him how his family never liked the pink hair thats why it was boyish looking and short. He felt bad for her, her uniqueness was never acknowledged. He smiled apologetically.
"Hey, look, youre a cool duddet, you dont have to hide it," He said.
"Your hair surely looks better when its long," Rinji said as he gave her a knowing wink.

((The stuff that's in the ' ' is a thought, not something she said. I don't know if you knew that cuz that stuff about her family was a thought, but I'll just go along with it for now)) Tomomi's eyes widened when he winked, then she smiled with an almost unoticable blush, "I haven't had it long for five years...." She looked down, "I'm sorry I'm just blabbing all of this out to you all of a sudden. You probably think I'm some sort of nutso, don't you?"
