Yasuo almost hadn't noticed what happened, his gaze focused on his tapping foot. He heard Kayoko speaking and then suddenly cut off, and a spontatenous stumbling as Kayoko pleaded Tomomi for ice. And then there was a thud, which is when Yasuo finally looked up. Kayoko was no longer standing, but instead gripped her stomach and contorted her face in pain. Had she fainted? She wasn't moving...he dropped the banana in fear.
"Tomomi! Stay calm," he said, kneeling down beside his two friends. "I knew she should've eaten that thing when we first gave it to her. Come on!" Yasuo stood, pushing some tables to clear the exit to the door. "I'll take her outside. You get her some food, and I don't care if you have to just steal it."

Tomomi nodded and stood. She looked over to the closed cafeteria line. Nothing but meat stew. Her face shriveled at the sight and what she could smell of it, but that means it could certainly revive Kayoko, right? Tomomi walked over in tiptoe and got to the meat stew. She felt like puking, but now was not the time. Tomomi grabbed a ladle and scooped some meat stew in. That's when the cafeteria lady saw her. "Hey!" She yelled. "Eiyyy!" Tomomi cried, racing off outside to where Kayoko and Yasuo would be. The lunch lady behind looked confused, "I was only going to ask if you wanted some!" The lunch lady turned away, "Oh well." As Tomomi ran, the meat stew dripped on her hand and shoe of that side. "Oh great." Tomomi thought, running, "That smell isn't going to go for at least a week." She ran out to Yasuo and Kayoko.

Kayoko couldn't wake up, her lips were turning a tinted blue from lack of oxyen. Her pulse slowed down greatly, to the thought she was almost dead. But every so often she'd gasp for air, which caused her stomach to tighten further.

Yasuo watched as Tomomi ran back with a bowl of stew in her hand. The stench made Yasuo cringe and wrinkle his nose, but he did his best ignore it. Worriedly, he looked back down to Kayoko's unconcious form. One gasp, and then silence...another gasp. More silence.
He studied her face, noticing her bluish lips. Yasuo sighed and immediately asked Tomomi when she arrived. "Do you know how to perform C.P.R.?"

Kayoko was practically in a dream-like state, even with no air. "...*gasp*.......*gasp*...............", Kayoko repeated until the gasps faded away, each breath, her stomach got tighter and it got harder to continue. She was practically dying. No, she was dying. But there was something that made her regain conciousness a little. She heard a boy's voice...Then a girl's voice. Yasuo and Tomomi. They were trying to help her, and she had to help herself recover also. Kayoko finally opened her eyes a little, but her stomach tightened like rope and made her practically throw up blood. She really wanted to cry, but wouldn't show the emotion. It would just hurt more.

Tomomi ran down with the ladel of meat stew, "Yasuo! I got the-" She tripped on Kayoko's foot, "Yikes!" Without any hands to keep her from falling, she toppled onto Kayoko. Fortunately, the meat stew reached Kayoko's mouth so if she just opened her mouth, then she would be revived, well, hopefully. Tomomi quickly got off Kayoko and kneeled beside her, pushing the ladel to Kayoko's mouth, "I'm sorry I fell on you Kayoko, but please! Eat this! If it doesn't fill up your stomach the stench will certainly wake you." She continued to hold the ladel to Kayoko's mouth, nothing happened. Tomomi bit her lip. She pulled Kayoko's chin down and tried to pour it in, but her teeth with blocking the way to her stomach, "Yasuo! Her mouth! Help me open it!" She turned back to Kayoko, "Open your mouth, Kayoko!"

Yasuo kneeled and slowly, careful not to pull Kayoko's lips too far apart too fast, opened her mouth. He stared at her face and studied the look which was held there. She's fighting.. Yasuo recognized that look of pain and suffering, but of a strange sort of determination to go on. He remembered that look and he couldn't help but shiver. That kid that I--..he had the same determination. He didn't die without trying to beat me.. Yasuo immediately closed his eyes, trying to forget. This wasn't the time for that time. His friend was dying, and he had to help.
"Come on, Kayoko. If you two are the same," Yasuo managed to whisper, "I know you can make it." Kayoko reminded Yasuo of the kid he had done such a terrible sin to. He wouldn't let that same thing happen again.

Kayoko looked at Yasuo. What did he say? But she couldn't really think because she smell meat stew. Kayoko didn't really like meat stew, but if it helped... She started to breath normally, ignore the pain in her stomach, but showing a pained face. 'Tomomi-san and Yasuo-san are trying so hard...'

Tomomi could just barely hear Yasuo through all of her concern and knew what he was talking about. The event that she had swore not to tell about to anyone. Then Kayoko started to breath normally, Tomomi's eyes swelled with tears of joy, "That's it Kayoko! Now, just open your mouth a little, tiny bit!"

Kayoko's eyes widened as her stomach gave a loud 'CRAAACK'. She closed her eyes and immediately stopped breathing all together. '...And...I...was...so close....'
