Kohana smiled, she had eaten the same thing everyday for every meal because she had gotten tired of tring to figure out the money around here. Her and the lunch lady had gotten into a great argument the first day because Kohana didn't understand the money. SO since then it had been an apple, Some rice mixed with carrots and peas and some sauce, and then some seasoned meat. Nearly two weeks striaght of anything and a person could begin to not be interested in it.
That reminded her maybe she should get a book on curency later. "It would be nice to have some, maybe we could get a few others in on it too."

Tomomi smiled, but now her mind was on food. Chicken Chow Mein, Pork Fried Rice, Egg Rolls and Duck Sauce. She almost drooled as she thought of it, but then came back to conciousness when her comic book slipped out of her hands and onto the floor. Tomomi sighed and picked it up, "I hope you'll like it here."

Kohana snapped back from the thought of her meals." Oh yes, it is a lot better than I thought it would be. When I was on my way all I could think of was how to find a way out of here but it's not soo bad. Thanks to the people I met." She was silent for a moment, "Speaking of food are you hungry? It's about supper time."

Tomomi nodded, holding onto her comic, "Yeah." She didn't feel like having Microwave Meals or Cafeteria food, so she thought aloud, "You wanna go to McDonald's? The food's always good there!"

Kohana grinned from ear to ear. Food! It was food that she hadn't eaten for two weeks straight on top of that. "They have McDonalds around here? That sounds so good."
As suddenly as her grin appeared it disappeared. If she couldn't figure out the money around here how was she going to take care of it there? How embarrassing would that be, to go order then not know how to pay, at her age. "I would love to, but just remembered I canft. Thanks for the offer though," Kohana sounded really disappointed.

Tomomi frowned, "Don't act like that! If you continue to act like that, you'll never fit in!" She grabbed Kohana's hand and started to pull her along, "I'll teach you everything you'll need to know!" Tomomi stopped and turned to face Kohana, "I'm going to do whatever possible to make you feel welcome here. Alright?"

Tomomi smiled, "Don't worry about it. I'll pay. I've got some money with me." She gestured her head to the door, "Let's go!"

Kohana stopped short. She couldn't possibly allow some one else to pay for her, could she? Maybe she would but she would have to pay Tomomi back. Haveing this decided she smiled and followed. "Lead the way."

Tomomi's face shined with a wide grin and she nodded, leading Kohana to McDonalds.
