Tomomi sat on a high stool in the drawing section of the Art's Wing. She had always liked drawing, especially manga and anime and was okay at it. She was definitely better at drawing than any Academics, other than writing, and it was a relaxation to her. She continued to draw even though she heard the small sound of footsteps at the entrance of the room.

Yasuo stepped in, holding a glimmering flute in his left hand. He hadn't noticed Tomomi, so focused on a small spot in the corner he was. He knew this wasn't the theater located in the Fine Arts Wing, but the theater was usually packed with people who were either goofing off or practicing for something. So, the desolate painting/drawing section was a much nicer, quieter place to practice the flute.
Striding over to his corner, he had hardly began to blow onto the flute when he noticed Tomomi, sitting on a stool. Quickly, he hid the instrument behind his back, stuffing it in his jeans (which was most certainly NOT comfortable). Had she noticed him? He decided not to take a chance, and stayed silent.

Tomomi heard the rustle of jeans, and Tomomi lifted her head from her drawing, "Who's there?"

Yasuo slapped his forehead, kicking himself mentally as well. 'Nice going' he thought to himself, stepping forth. He removed the flute from his jeans, sighing in relief as the uncomfortable item was taken out.
"Just...me," Yasuo uttered from the darkened corner. He took a step towards Tomomi, shedding more light on him just in case Tomomi couldn't recognize his voice.
"Are..are you drawing?" Yasuo asked when he noticed a pencil in Tomomi's hand.

Tomomi nodded, "Yeah, I'm not great at it, but it's like music to me, a relaxation..." Tomomi sighed, "You know Tsukiko, right? Well, she draws amazingly." Tomomi looked down and turned her head, but suddenly saw something glisten in Yasuo's hand, "What's that?" Tomomi asked, pointing the the shining item.

"Tsukiko," Yasuo repeated her name. He hadn't heard it for a while now...was she all right?
"Oh, this?" Yasuo held up the flute, silently cursing himself for letting Tomomi spot it. "This is my flute...my relaxation and only talent," Yasuo chuckled. He held it up to his lips and blew across the hole, playing a few notes.
"I'm not very good...but I guess I'll get better with time," Yasuo shrugged.

Tomomi smiled and put her pencil down beside her drawing, "Can you play any songs?"

Yasuo laughed shyly, shrinking back into the darkened corner. "Well, I..can play a little melody...I guess." He stalled, shining his instrument and checking it over. Finally, he put the mouthpiece to his lips and began to blow over the opening.
A soft, eerie melody began to flow from the flute, as if the song itself were wrapped in mystery. The notes carried from the instrument in a smoothly sounding harmony. The tune was high, but quiet and ghostly.
After a while, Yasuo lowered the flute and coughed. He also inhaled deeply; it took a lot of wind to play the flute.

"That was really really good. And pretty." Tomomi got an idea and smiled evilly, "Ya' know...I can tell there's a little something going on with you and Kayoko. It's undoubtably noticable. On my way out of the Valentine's dance, I took a glance behind and saw you and Kayoko dance and you sit nearer in Science class to her than you ever did before." Tomomi continued to smile evilly, "She likes SWEET things. So maybe if you played her some SWEET flute music, she would really like it. And she has been sad lately so, maybe it will cheer her up!" Tomomi turned around and went back to her drawing, "But whatever. It was only an IDEA."

Yasuo sighed and ran a hand through his hair, thankful for the dark corner hiding his facial expression. "I can't make people cheery," he muttered beneath his breath.
"Sweet music...?" Yasuo asked, tilting his head. "What do you mean...'sweet' music? Like...love songs?" he scratched his head, confused about what the definition of sweet was at the current moment. Did she mean sweet as in cool? Or sweet as in...heart, mushy, lovey-dovey stuff? Yasuo icked at the thought.
